- Maintain awareness of infection control standards and good practice guidelines. Provide appropriate advice and guidance
- Provide advice on the correct and safe management of the specimens process, including collection, labelling, handling, use of correct containers, storage and transport arrangements
- Correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in both routine and extraordinary circumstances
- Cleanliness of own work area and hand hygiene
- Managing directly all incidents of accidental exposure
- Safe use of sharps, storage and disposal
- Demonstrate due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults

We have an exciting opportunity to join our small semi-rural Dispensing General Practice in Scholar Green. As one of our Partners retires in spring 2025, we are looking to recruit a new partner in our purpose built modern surgery.
The post holder will work as one of a multi-disciplinary team of GPs, nurses and other clinicians delivering general practice services to the practice population, providing an excellent standard of clinical care. Providing a range of General Practice consultations, telephone calls, home visits, urgent and non-urgent appointments. Assisting in the development of the Practices healthcare services for a diverse patient list.
