PART TIME PERMANENT POSITION AVAILABLE TO WORK MON-FRI WITHIN DAYCASE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team and work within a designated surgical day case area, caring for paediatric patients pre and post-surgery (ophthalmology/dental/ENT/general/plastics) as well as our medical activity that supports a wide range of investigatory and treatments.

Working closely with the Children’s ward and assessment unit team you will deliver care to a high standard, supporting CYP through the pathways, including pre-assessment and pre/post-operative care, infusion regimes, blood clinics, food challenge and skin prick clinics for example.

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to take up this position. You will possess excellent communication skills.

General hours of work are expected to be 8-4pm Mon-Fri. Please note potential requirement to move to other areas of paediatrics for service need may be required at times of extremis, including paediatric inpatient areas.
