The post-holder will be responsible for the provision of a high quality administrative service for a busy Living Well Centre providing administrative support, along with other administrative colleagues in order to support the Team, by undertaking typing of appointment letters and other suitable administrative tasks as well as providing a high quality service. They will need to be able to prioritise their workload and use their own initiative when dealing with queries from health professionals and members of the public, promoting the professional and caring image of the services.

This is a very demanding role i.e. working in a fast paced reception within an Living Well Centre. The applicant is required to have excellent communication skills and telephone manner with the ability to multi task and prioritise your workload. The receptionist will be responsible for answering and signposting calls, emailing clinicians, dealing with post, liaising with Drs for medication, completing templated letters and other tasks working to deadlines.

Attention to detail with good literacy skills are required as the successful applicant will support other administrators within the team in producing standard letters and assisting in entering referrals onto our Electronic Patient Journey System (ePJS) – experience in using ePJS is an advantage, but not essential, as training would be provided.


About the location:


You will be based at one location but maybe required to work at other sites within Lambeth.
