Within the Surgery Directorate, we greatly value our ENT staff, they play an important role in the day to day running of our Clinical Services, making sure that patient care is at the forefront of all we do.

If you are appointed on a Band 8a Annex 21 Contract your salary will be;
Year 1: 65% £37,276.85 per annum, pro rata
Year 2: 70% £40,144.30 per annum, pro rataYear 3: 75% £43,.75 per annum, pro rata
Main duties of the jobAs an autonomous practitioner, you will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary ENT team to support service developments in line with local and national initiatives. You will take responsibility for developing and reviewing care protocols and training for staff within the division. You will be crucial to leading and supporting new working methods that will emphasise efficient and patient-focused services.
You will utilise advanced skills and knowledge to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment and care for ENT patients presenting with undifferentiated diagnoses. You will use your expertise to manage patients within an agreed scope of practice from initial presentation to discharge across entire divisional pathways.
