As the Advanced Biomedical Scientist Quality & Accreditation Lead, you will:
Oversee Departmental Compliance:
Ensure our department adheres to UKAS ISO 15189 standards and lead the transition to ISO 15189: 2022. This includes continuous monitoring and updating of practices to meet accreditation standards.
Develop and Maintain Management System Procedures:
Design and implement robust management system procedures that support continuous improvements aligned with the updated accreditation standards.
Equipment Documentation:
Ensure that all equipment documentation is current and maintained to acceptable standards, facilitating smooth operations and compliance checks.
Incident Reporting and Investigation:
Promptly report, investigate, and address any errors, hazards, and incidents. Implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.
