The team has regular face-to-face team meetings, individual supervision and line management.
We are looking for an enthusiastic clinical psychologist who is passionate about Parent Infant Mental Health to join our Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Early Attachment Service (EAS.) The post holder will be contributing to the implementation of a community based
therapeutic service in line with the Best Start for Life framework for parents to be, infants and their families.
Working as a clinical psychologist in the Early Attachment Service (EAS), the role will involve providing therapeutic support to families in the antenatal and postnatal period, liaising closely with colleagues in Health Visiting, Midwifery, IAPT, Perinatal CMHT, NICU and Children’s Social Care and Family Hubs.
The post holder will support the EAS in developing and delivering a universal – mild – moderate perinatal and parent-infant mental health (PIMH) service offer and pathway. A key aspect of the job will be to promote and raise awareness of parent infant mental health across the borough, enhancing knowledge, skills and confidence in the local PIMH workforce through training, consultation, supervision and promotion, particularly within the locality Family Hubs.
The work will also involve supporting the implementation and delivery of therapeutic PIMH groups across the local borough in partnership with external agencies.
