The East Midlands Acute Providers Digital Design Collaborative (EMAP DDC)

The Digital Design Collaborative (DDC) is a group of NHS Acute Trusts in the East Midlands Region of England who have come together to strategically plan and collaborate on their collective digital transformation journey, with the ambition to strategically operate as one health care system.

The DDC vision is
We will have the best EPR in the NHS for the benefit of our patients, staff and population
. This will be achieved by:

  • Prioritising safety in our journey to improving patient care ensuring highest standards of safety and wellbeing
  • Adding value to the working lives of our staff and empowering them to deliver exceptional patient outcomes with ease and confidence
  • Contribute to the creation of a healthcare landscape where excellence is the norm, innovation is embraced, and the benefits of the collaboration are fully realised

The DDC member organisations have embarked on a digital excellence journey to implement a nationally leading Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system that will transform the quality of care for their patients and staff by having instantly accessible information using the latest mobile technology, reducing paper usage and utilising clinical decision support tools.

DSFS is proud to be supporting the EMAP DDC in the delivery of its vision.

Initially based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital (CRH) and University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB), flexibility is required across the main hospital sites (Chesterfield Royal Hospital, Royal Derby Hospital, Queen's Hospital Burton, Samual Johnson Hospital Litchfield, Sir Robert Peel Hospital Tamworth and Florence Nightingale Hospital Derby).

As the EPR Digital Systems Training Designer you will work as part of the team to successfully implement the training and support for the launch of the EPR systems for the EMAP DDC partner organisations. Working across the EMAP DDC sites to support the creation and development of training material in a multi-faceted environment.
