We are looking for a enthusiastic, motivated and caring individual to support the Community Podiatry Service in the delivery of quality foot care across the London boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.
You will be supporting the team in delivering high quality care to our patients, while simultaneously being supported to achieve your personal best.
The team delivers the full scope of podiatric disciplines, therefore the role will be varied and interesting.

- To assist the provision of a high standard of therapy services to patients within GSTT and to undertake duties to support the smooth functioning of the department and service
- To treat own delegated workload of patients and maintain associated patient records
- You will be working within a team but also autonomously
- Must have good communications skills
To organise and assist in podiatric clinics:
- To carry out and prioritise your own caseload of patients with simple predictable conditions as delegated by the podiatrist. These patients will be seen in various clinic locations as well as within the patient's own home
- To provide competent treatment to patients within set clinical protocols as appropriate
- Ability to work with minimal or no immediate supervision - using initiative
- To manage and maintain stock levels for our clinics by liaising regularly with our procurement department
- To assist with our nail surgery clinics
- To use own clinical judgement and knowledge in regards to progressing and/or adapting treatment programmes within agreed clinical protocols and parameters
- To demonstrate an awareness and an ability to manage clinical risk
- To comply with the Health and Safety Regulations
- To be able to cope with occasional, potentially stressful, upsetting or emotional situations in an empathetic manner
- To attend mandatory training
