£12.50 - £16 per hour depending on shifts taken (premium pay for nights and weekends)

Role Overview

As a Care Worker, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their wellbeing. Your role will be vital in promoting independence and improving the quality of life for those you care for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Support: Administer medication and ensure clients take their prescribed doses.
  • Daily Living Activities: Support clients with meal preparation, household chores, and other daily tasks.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to reduce loneliness and isolation.
  • Mobility Assistance: Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to supervisors.

Qualifications And Skills


  • Experience: Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and provide high-quality care.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Empathy: Ability to understand and respond to the needs of clients.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle may be required for domiciliary care positions (apart from night shifts)
