We are currently recruiting for a Service Lead to join our Support Services team in Belfast!

 

  • This is a 40hr role.

 

Tarasis Support Services provide housing and support to some of the most vulnerable people in our community. The successful applicant will assist with the management of our bespoke support packages to service users with complex needs and ensure a high-quality, safe and effective service is delivered in accordance with Tarasis Policies and Procedures, NISCC Standards of Conduct & Practice and RQIA standards.

 

The Service Lead will assist the Head of Support Services to assess suitability of referrals, to the criteria and objectives of the service. They will work to establish supportive relationships with service users and deal with challenging situations in an appropriate and sensitive manner. They will also be responsible for overseeing, supervising and developing the skills of staff in their daily working practice.

They will work in conjunction with management to prepare reports when required for commissioners as well as assisting management with the preparation of external inspections and audits.

 

The successful applicant must have :


  • A social worker qualification with a minimum 2 years post qualifying experience / or a Level 5 diploma in Health and Social Care with a minimum 2 years experience
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
  • Experience managing case loads and file management
  • Full Driving Licence with access to a car
