We are excited to present a new opportunity to join our technology team at the Central Hub in Warwick as an Electronic Patient Records System Specialist.

As a member of the Clinical Systems team, the Electronic Patient Records (EPS) System Specialist. will assist in the design, development, management, optimization, deployment, and support of our new software, Street Heaver's Compucare.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of radiology workflows. A crucial aspect of the role will be to ensure a smooth transition from the current RIS, Lumeon's Care Pathway Manager (CPM), to the new RIS/PACS solution, supporting the business transformation of units and mobiles and the adoption of Standard Operating Procedures.

Experience with AGFA's EI PACS, xWave Technologies, and Mirth/HL7 would be beneficial.

This role involves engaging in the full lifecycle of the application, documenting clear functional requirements for significant changes, ensuring configuration documentation, and creating training materials.

As a successful candidate you must possess the following:

  • Significant understanding of Radiology workflows, clinical and operational processes.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Radiology Information Systems, with specific experience in Street Heaver's Compucare hospital management system software.
  • Demonstrable customer service experience in a busy IT orientated service environment or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build successful working relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Good time management skills and ability to plan and prioritise workload.
  • Ability to communicate IT issues and effectively convey technical information to non-technical users.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Radiography, or a related field.
