Interested candidates are invited to contact Dr Dave Raven to discuss the opportunity.
AAC interview date: 05 December 2024
This job description was approved by the Royal College of Emergency Medicine on 16th May 2024.
As part of the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Cross-County Emergency Medicine Directorate, you will have the opportunity to work at both Worcestershire Royal Hospital and the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch. You will be joining us at an exciting time as both our departments have seen significant investment to improve facilities for patients and rest and training facilities for staff. Summer 2023 will see the opening of a multi-million-pound state-of-the-art Urgent and Emergency Care centre on the Worcestershire Royal Hospital site, with co-located EM, Acute Medicine, Radiology and SDEC services to transform our activity.
Situated between the calm tranquillity of the Malvern Hills and the hustle-and-bustle of Birmingham City Centre, Redditch offers the best of both worlds. You could be a short distance away from beautiful countryside for outdoor pursuits, or a short distance away from dining at Michelin-starred restaurants or visiting the many theatres, museums and music venues of Birmingham.
Nearby towns such as Bromsgrove have schools rated as being Outstanding by Ofsted for those who are already raising young families, or those who are just about to embark on that lifelong journey.
If you want something supportive, sustainable and geared towards delivering quality, innovative patient care, choose Worcestershire, Where Our People Matter.
