We are looking for an Assistant Director of Operations, Integrated Care to join our Operations Senior Leadership Team reporting to the Executive Director of Operations. You will have responsibility for what is currently our Clinical Support Desk (providing remote clinical assessment for patients via the 999 system) and our NHS 111 Wales services (providing remote clinical assessment for patients via the 111 system). According to our Integrated Medium-Term Plan, we are about to converge these services and others into a single Remote Integrated Clinical Service and so we need an individual who can:
- Lead and progress change, bringing our people and stakeholders with us
- Fully realise the potential for patients by delivering safe, effective, and efficient services
- Enhance our integration with other health and social care partners across Wales
- Develop and empower our teams to provide the best possible care for our patients
Main duties of the jobYou will possess a proven track record in senior operational management and leadership within complex and challenging environments. Your communication, influence, and negotiation skills are exceptional. You are deeply committed to enhancing quality and the patient experience. Your passion lies in developing and supporting staff, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
