Senior Care Assistant - Shetland IslandPay rate: £20 per hourBenefits: Accommodation provided and Travel expenses.My reputable client is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team and help us continue to deliver outstanding service.Role Overview: Your main duties will include- Administer Medication: Ensure residents receive their prescribed medications accurately and timely, adhering to all protocols and safety standards.- Assist at Meal Times: Support residents during meal times, including feeding assistance and ensuring dietary requirements are met.- Provide Quality Care: Deliver high standards of personal care, including hygiene, mobility, and emotional support, tailored to individual needs.- Liaise with Local GP: Coordinate with local general practitioners to manage resident's health care plans and medical appointments, ensuring all health concerns are addressed promptly.- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, medication administration, and any changes in resident's health or behaviour.- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other care assistants and health care professionals to create a supportive and effective care environment.- Commitment: Will to commit to working long term.
