Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

Location: Pontefract

Hourly Rate: £11.44

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift: Day Position (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our clients' team in Pontefract. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Monitoring and recording vital signs
Providing mobility support and assisting with physical therapy exercises
Ensuring patients' comfort and safety
Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Following care plans and reporting any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff

Requirements

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential
A caring and compassionate nature
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and standards
Flexibility to work the required hours
