Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our clients' team in Pontefract. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Providing mobility support and assisting with physical therapy exercises
- Ensuring patients' comfort and safety
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Following care plans and reporting any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff
Requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential
- A caring and compassionate nature
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
