Job summaryThe post-holder will be a highly experienced, knowledgeable practitioner who provides leadership in practice development and education to the non-medical workforce. They will role model best, evidence-based professional practice. Clinical educational support for learners at the bedside will be a substantial part of this role.
The Senior Clinical Educator will provide management and development support to junior educators. Through the design and implementation of education the practice development practitioner will contribute to interprofessional learning and clinical excellence. In order to deliver education that meets service needs and priorities the practice development practitioner will work collaboratively with clinical managers, the corporate education team, and external partners.
As a senior practitioner with specialist knowledge the post-holder will be active in supporting and furthering quality and governance structures. They will represent practice development and education on behalf of their clinical area. They will also be engaged with audit, service improvement and research.
