The247dentist are looking for dentists to provide out-of-hours private emergency dental care in Exeter.The job entails providing high quality private emergency dental care over weekends, weekday evenings and bank holidays and usually operates on a weekly rota system Monday to Sunday with *guaranteed pay* for being on call. We are looking for Dentists to do 1 or 2 weeks on-call per calendar month.
The expected weekly hours would be 10 to 20 depending on your speed of work and earnings are in the region of £1500 - £3000 per week.
The successful candidate will have a high knowledge base for diagnosing and managing toothaches, lost fillings and crowns, broken or traumatised teeth and be skilled in extractions, accessing & dressing teeth, restorations and repairs. GDC registered and have at least 1 year post graduate experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn additional income or earn very well through flexible hours.
*On call hours are as follows: (Late night after 10pm and early morning call outs are very rare due to the enhanced cost of an appointment at this time)*
- Monday 18:30 – 04:00
- Tuesday from 18:30 – 04:00
- Wednesday from 18:30 – 04:00
- Thursday from 18:30 – 04:00
- Friday from 18:30 - 04:00
Sunday from 00:to 00:00
*(Monday - Friday there is some flexibility with evening start time) Due to the nature of how we operate, you will only go to the practice when a patient is booked in, you will be given a minimum of 1 hours notice if not currently at the practice.*
- Please note that if you are on call over a bank holiday, the hours will be – 00:– 00:00 for that day. This includes all bank holiday Mondays, Easter Monday, Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.*
