An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 technician to join the Macmillan Therapy Team Occupational Therapy team in Singleton Hospital, working within our cancer service. The role will involve working under the Occupational Therapists' guidance to implement intervention programmes with service users who are inpatients within the hospital and non-clinical duties. The role will include interventions to improve and maintain occupational performance, and will be geared towards the individual needs and goals of the service users.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake therapeutic handling of patients and will include the need to undertake home visits to patients' homes to deliver and fit appropriate equipment to facilitate discharge.
