The post-holder will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of clinical staff who are attending to patients presenting with a booked appointment or with an unscheduled care need; diagnosing, treating patients and advising people in respect of their continuing medical and nursing needs. Advanced Clinical Practitioner will act as role model in the delivery of the service by being a highly efficient and productive leader using their expert knowledge and experience. The successful candidate will need to prioritise the needs of the service, team and patients accordingly making any necessary decisions to maintain the safety of the patients and the effectiveness of the service.

This will include work at Blackpool Urgent Treatment Centre on Whitegate Drive (formerly the Walk-in Centre), DVT located at Blackpool Victoria Hospital and Blackpool Victoria Urgent Treatment Centre.
