The Brighton and Hove clinic is a specialist inpatient eating disorder unit for children and adolescents.
Reporting directly to the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for the delivery of evidence-based individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working and risk assessments. You will also facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and be requested to design and deliver training to the multi-disciplinary team.
As a Psychologist, you will have experience and knowledge in carrying a therapy caseload, including assessing complex needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments to support individualised patient care plans.

Brighton & Hove Clinic provides a CAMHS Tier 4 eating disorder service for young people aged 12 to 18 years with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder: or those with eating difficulties with other co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder or self-harm. Our patients can also present with co-morbid attachment difficulties, ASC (both diagnosed and undiagnosed) and with emotion regulation difficulties. We provide individualised and formulation driven treatment programmes to support children and adolescents to begin their recovery and transition safely back into the community. Interventions include individual therapy, systemic family therapy, occupational therapy, therapeutic and activity groups, meal support sessions and a psychoeducational family support group.
The role is an exciting opportunity to join an established and passionate psychology team, whilst also contributing to the development of an individualised and patient-centred service committed to improving clinical practice and effectiveness. The successful candidate will also join a network of eating disorder therapists working across Elysium providing access to CPD, training and peer supervision.
