Children's Research Nurse inLondon inLondon PUBLISHED 17 MAY 2024

You will work as a skilled member of the team, providing a high standard of holistic, family centred clinical care to children and their families participating in research studies.
Job summary

Our team of children's research nurses deliver world-class care to patients participating in clinical trials across our NIHR Clinical Research Facility (CRF), Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and Clinical Research Network: North Thames.

Some of our recent successes include the Summit plc trial, to which the first two global patients were recruited in the CRF. The CRF has supported a BioMarin Pharmaceuticals sponsored clinical trial that has led to the clinical development and approval of a drug called VIMIZIM as a treatment for Morquio A syndrome. These successes demonstrate the importance of the research nurse contribution in continuing to deliver high quality and complex clinical studies for paediatric and rare diseases.

Due to internal promotion and expansion of the team, we are looking to recruit motivated, enthusiastic individuals to our research nurse posts. Our team of nurses work across a range of specialties, including dermatology, endocrinology, nephrology, gastroenterology, metabolic, and neurology to name a few, and in partnership with the clinical specialty teams.

There are permanent and fixed term roles available.
