Hours: 37.5 hrs/week

We are looking for a motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team.



The unit is open 07:30 am to 8pm Mon-Friday



This challenging role requires excellent interpersonal skills, and someone who thrives in a busy environment. The ability to work under pressure is required.



Nursing care duties


  • Assist with patient transfer throughout the hospital
  • Liaise with all members of the clinical operations team to ensure the identification and timely transfer of patients from area to area as directed by the senior team.
  • Make unoccupied beds
  • Help to get patients up, assist with dressing and pack up patient’s property where required
  • Wash and bathe patients
  • Give attention to oral care, nails and hair as required
  • Assist with care of pressure areas
  • Prepare meals, snacks and drinks and help feed patients where required.
  • Assist patients to the toilet or use of commode.
  • Assist in appropriately transferring patients.
