Working as a Salaried Locum GP will provide you with lots of variety, as well as a great way to see how different practices work. You will be joining Manx Care at a time of exciting new development of integrated healthcare delivery.You will be part of a small, dedicated team benefittingfrom one to one support which will enable you to build effective relationships.You will be supported by the Primary Care Services team for administrative tasks and your calendar bookings, as well as the team being your first point of contact for any queries. Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, the IOM Public Service offers two pension arrangements the Isle of Man Government Unified Scheme 2or the Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) Arrangement.
Our on-site education and training centre, Keyll Darree, comprises a lecture theatre, well stocked medical library, training facilities and a state of the art simulation lab which is operated by trained simulation practitioners.
We recognise the need for all medical staff on the Island to maintain connections with medicine in the United Kingdom and encourage links with other units, as well as providing study leave with pay and expenses to attend approved conferences and workshops.
