The Dietetic service at Wirral University Teaching Hospital is looking for a new Team Lead - the role would encompass the day-to-day management and leadership of the team, alongside a clinical commitment and close working with the management team. The clinical commitment is likely to be in stroke services, however there may be some flexibility in this.
- To be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day line management of staff, including first line HR processes, and the provision of AHP services in a designated AHP team.
- To provide assessment and treatment to own specialist caseload as an autonomous clinician, maintaining a high standard of clinical practice.
- To provide Leadership in area of work and to be a role model to all AHP staff across the directorate.
- To organise and participate in providing 7 day services and an extended working day, as required.
- To work closely with the Clinical leads and AHP management team to provide a coordinated, quality service.
