Senior Care Assistant - Shetland Island
Pay rate: 20 per hour

My reputable client is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team and help us continue to deliver outstanding service.
Role Overview
Your main duties will include
- Administer Medication: Ensure residents receive their prescribed medications accurately and timely, adhering to all protocols and safety standards.
- Assist at Meal Times: Support residents during meal times, including feeding assistance and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Provide Quality Care: Deliver high standards of personal care, including hygiene, mobility, and emotional support, tailored to individual needs.
- Liaise with Local GP: Coordinate with local general practitioners to manage resident's health care plans and medical appointments, ensuring all health concerns are addressed promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, medication administration, and any changes in resident's health or behaviour.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other care assistants and health care professionals to create a supportive and effective care environment.
- Commitment: Will to commit to working long term. Contracts can range from 3 to 6 months.
