An opportunity has arisen for a part time Clinical Secretary to support the MHIST(Mental Health Intensive Support Team) based at Upton Lea.
This service provides specialist assessment, treatment, interventions & support, to help people recover from complex mental health problems & to regain the skills & confidence to live successfully in the community.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, and resourceful individual to join our team as a Clinical Secretary.
You should possess a commitment to team working and a desire to deliver excellent standards of work. As a team we are supportive, and competent. We want all staff members to develop their skills through training and development opportunities.
We aim to provide the highest standards in administrative support services to our colleagues to maintain safety, health and, most importantly wellbeing of the people in our area.
The individual must also be able to demonstrate an understanding and application of the 6 C’s in practice, these being Care; Compassion; Competence; Communication; Courage and Commitment.
We will ensure you have access to career development with regular supervision and appraisal.
This post is part time 18.75 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide a comprehensive administration service undertaking audio typing using digital dictation for Consultant and Junior doctor’s clinics, manage calendars and arrange meetings, taking minutes as and when required.
Liaising with GPs, Social Workers and other agencies responding to queries appropriately ensuring confidentiality at all times.
The successful candidate will be expected to be able to organise and prioritise their own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met, and that urgent work is accommodated.
This is a varied role and applicants will be able to demonstrate a high level of expertise in typing and keyboard skills which would include comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be communicating with service users, carers, and health and social care professionals.
CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care – including the provision of three GP surgeries.
