As a Staff Nurse on the Victoria and Albert Ward, you will be caring for cardiovascular patients and working with the multidisciplinary team to provide our patients with high-quality care. We are supported by an energetic Practice Development Nurse team who assist staff with continuous career development. We have a robust education plan and offer various courses to our staff.
Victoria and Albert Ward works closely with the Victoria and Albert HDU and the Cardiac Recovery Unit.
We Need The Successful Candidate To Be Able To
Be a safe and effective practitioner able to provide high quality nursing care to patients and support to relatives.
Work with support, within a multidisciplinary team to provide continuing care to a specified group of patients from admission to discharge.
Supervise and teach junior members of staff and learners as appropriate.
Maintain own personal development with support.
Particular emphasis is put at Kings on the need to ensure that all staff recognise their responsibility to deliver services in a high quality, courteous, patient focused manner maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
