Antwerp House Dentistry is hiring a full time Head Nurse
This role will assist the Practice Manager with the efficient day to day management of a busy and long established practice, alongside supporting the nursing team.
Employment Duties Include
- Ensuring practice compliance with regard to Health & Safety, CQC and GDC standards.
- Completing clinical audits and maintain complaince logs via IComply
- Monitoring practice equipment and ensure all are correctly serviced and maintained.
- Stock control and weekly ordering of materials.
- Chairing regular nurses meetings
- HR requirements including training and inductions.
- Gaining a full working knowledge of the practice computer system (SOE).
- Attending refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR.
- Reporting all concerns to the Practice Director or Practice Manager.
- Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice.
- Job Type*: Full-time, Monday – Friday 7.45am to 5.30pm (one hour unpaid lunch break)
To Be Considered For This Role You Must Have
Proven experience in a Dental Practice, with strong Dental Nurse skills. Candidates must have a current GDC registration. Previous extended duties are desirable but not essential.
Ability to lead and manage a team
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Must be a team player
IT literate with good numeracy ability
Be comfortable following internal and external processes/procedures
Should be personable, polite and patient
Maintain confidentiality and data security
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.75-£16.00 per hour
