The four acute Trusts in Humber and North Yorkshire have come together to form the Collaboration of Acute Providers (CAP), to work together on transformational change programmes at scale. Our aim is to use our collective expertise and resources across the acute sector to ensure that people who use our services have timely access to the same standard of high-quality acute care wherever they live, and are supported to achieve their best health.
The Collaboration of Acute Providers is hosted by York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is an integral part of the Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care System. As a system we are embarking on major transformational change across our urgent care, elective care and diagnostic services. As part of a dynamic Programme Team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experience person to provide short term capacity to drive our diagnostic change programme and deliver on our ambitions for our patients.
The Humber and North Yorkshire Collaboration of Acute Providers (CAP) delivers programmes of work at scale to support improved patient care. Working across the acute trusts within the provider collaborative, the post holder will be responsible for the overall management/leadership and delivery of the Diagnostic Programme and associated projects, on behalf of the Programme Director.
The Diagnostic Programme Manager is a key member of the CAP and is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction on the delivery of the programme across the Humber and North Yorkshire, working closely with colleagues across the Integrated Care System (ICS).
The post holder will be a subject matter expert ensuring that support and advice is always available to the CAP on issues regarding services. This will require highly effective analysis and interpretation of data and guidelines to recommend and make judgments on service recovery and transformation across the CAP.
The post holder will provide senior representation for Humber and North Yorkshire (HNY) at regional meetings and other senior meetings as required.
As the Programme Manager, the post holder will work as part of the CAP and the ICS to maintain and enhance service provision, support recovery, transformation and future service sustainability across Humber and North Yorkshire. This includes working closely with the cancer alliance and urgent and emergency care teams and the digital programme.
