Are you passionate about working with autistic people and their families? We are looking to recruit Senior Support workers to provide direct 121 support to autistic children and young people at our social activities based in our Carryduff Autism centre. This is a bank role and includes week nights and weekends. We are a passionate, innovative and committed team and are looking for similar individuals to join us. We provide excellent training. The Role Includes


  • Having oversight of support packages including reviewing care plans and outcomes for the people we support
  • Supporting the development of the staff team, including conducting supervisions and appraisals, ensuring staff have access to suitable learning and development opportunities and presenting self as a role model/mentor
  • Assisting with the smooth running and day to day operations of the service

We need you to be:
Resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Suitable candidates will have experience of management and/or shift leading within a social care setting. Being a Senior Support Worker takes leadership skills, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.
