SWBMT Service Coordinator - Band 4
An exciting full time opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Coordinator to join the South Wales Blood and Marrow Transplant Service at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
As an experienced Service Cordinator, the post holder will have excellent communication skills and experience of using IT systems on a daily basis. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of using PMS , have the ability to work well under pressure with good interpersonal and team working skills. The post holder must be able to use their own initiative but also work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will need to be highly motivated, flexible to the needs of the service and possess good organisational skills, plus be able to demonstrate excellent word processing ability. The successful candidate would benefit from having previous experience of working in a busy and challenging office environment. The post holder will be supported to thrive in a busy, varied and professional environment.
It is essential that the successful candidate is a highly motivated individual with excellent typing and interpersonal skills, including a sound knowledge of medical terminology. The post holder will need to meet tight deadlines, manage confidential patient information and maintain high standards relating to administrative processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to be part of an exciting, evolving directorate. The directorate encourages personal development and the post holder will be expected to take an active part in the VBA process.
