About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join a busy dental practice in IG8. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in dental nursing and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.
The ideal candidate should be either enrolled in a dental nursing course or willing to self-fund the course. You will also need to have your Hepatitis B vaccinations up to date. Full training and support will be provided as you develop your skills in the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
Ensure that treatment rooms are prepared and sterilized before and after procedures.
Support with patient care and offer reassurance where necessary.
Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Help with general administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing dental stock.
Adhere to health and safety standards and follow infection control protocols.
Required Skills & Experience:
Must be enrolled or willing to enroll in a dental nursing course.
Willing to self-fund dental nursing course if not already enrolled.
Hepatitis B vaccinations are required.
Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
