Our clinical teams deliver many NHS services, not only via inpatient and primary care settings, but also within the community.
Hours from 15 hours per week to full time available (for part-time posts - salary will be pro rata), compressed hours and flexible working patterns will also be considered.


We have vacancies for a number of qualified Health Visitors to join our existing team of Health Visitors working in Peterborough.

As a qualified Health Visitor, you will be working in a well-supported skill mix team to deliver a universal Healthy Child Programme targeting those with additional needs. We enjoy excellent working relationships with our partner agencies and work together to ensure families receive a seamless service. We deliver services in client’s homes, Children’s Centres and other community settings.


Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. Please confirm in your application that you meet the specified criteria.


  • The post holder has continuing responsibility for an identified caseload and is committed to the development of an effective high quality service to designated families with pre- school children and infants.
  • The post holder will use evidenced based practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in line with the Healthy Child Programme, addressing inequalities in health and maintaining excellent links with relevant agencies.
  • This vacancy is open to newly qualified SCPHN Health Visitors as well as experienced practitioners.
