The Role

As Clinical Research Technician, you will play a key role in providing a safe and caring environment for our volunteers who take part in our clinical trials.
General tasks of Clinical Research Technicians include taking vital signs i.e. blood pressure and ECG's and taking blood samples in order to obtain high quality study data.
Your role is essential to our volunteer experience and crucial to the development of new medicines.
You do not need to have any previous experience as we will provide you with the highest quality training.
Our positions involve shift and weekend work, including, twilight and night shifts.
This role is based at our Nottingham site.
The Candidate
We want to hear from candidates who have:
- A minimum of GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent) with good numeracy and literacy skills
- A high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working in a customer service environment
- Good IT literacy
- The ability to learn and retain information is key, training is ongoing which involves a blended approach of reading SOP's (standard operating procedures), job shadowing, and practical learning.
Our ideal candidate will like working with the public and enjoys being part of a vibrant team. They have a 'can do' attitude, are willing to go 'the extra mile' and are committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Previous customer service experience from hospitality, retail, or other general customer service, is desirable.
