About The Role



This role covers Care Homes across Scotland


As Housekeeping Support Specialist, you will ensure that those in our care receive exceptional service at all times and that all aspects of the operation are maintained and presented to the highest possible standard.

You will work within a planned development cycle to deliver continuous improvement to the housekeeping function through training, coaching, and supporting all homes within the HC-One portfolio.

You Will Also Be Accountable For The Drive, Planning And Successful Execution Of The Strategic Vision And Activity, Ensuring Delivery Is Aligned To Organisational Goals To

  • Deliver the best health and care experience to Residents
  • Promote the best working environment for Colleagues
  • Deliver the best returns for investors


This is a Home based role with extensive travel



About You


A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, you have strong relationship building skills and can communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. You have strong people skills, being able to influence and motivate, and have experience of coaching, training and mentoring.

Outcome and solution focused, you are an analytical / critical thinker. You have strong IT skills and have good organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
