To move patients safely using techniques taught by the Manual Handling Team, including the safe use of mechanical and non-mechanical manual handling aids.
This position is based on the Acute Medical floor at RSH. We are looking for caring and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our team. You will have good communication skills and a caring nature, with the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. In return we can offer you a robust training programme (a 2 week academy Healthcare programme prior to starting in the department if new to the role) as well as further training and education to progress your career with us.

We currently have a permanent position and a 6 month secondment position available.

  • To move patients safely using techniques taught by the Manual Handling Team, including the safe use of mechanical and non-mechanical manual handling aids
  • To provide clinical administrative support to Registered Nurses

We believe that by adhering to our Vision (“To provide excellent care for the communities we serve”) and working with our Trust Values in mind (Partnering, Ambitious, Caring, Trusted) we can achieve the right results for the people that matter most – our patients and their families.
