An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Corporate Support Officer to work within the NHS Golden Jubilee Corporate Governance department.

We are seeking to appoint an individual with previous experience of working in a demanding and challenging administration role together with an understanding of the NHS or a large and complex multisite organisation within the Public or Private sector. Joining an established team, you will provide administrative support to the Deputy Directors of Digital, Finance and Quality, Performance and Planning. This post has a workload that will be fast paced and unpredictable and it is important that you can demonstrate through experience a sound understanding of the need for discretion and diplomacy in a confidential setting.

This role requires the ability to be flexible, have good organisational and communication skills and a have experience in minute taking.

The successfully appointed candidate will be expected to undertake all aspects of secretarial/administrative support to the Deputy Directors and have a high level of competency in using Microsoft Office. This role will require you to work collaboratively within the Corporate Governance team and externally with other Health Boards. A proven track record of working in a busy organisation where competing priorities are a daily challenge is essential.

Applications are welcome from those who have a recognised qualification in Administration equivalent to HNC in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or SVQ in Administration, or significant relevant equivalent experience. It is essential that the postholder can demonstrate organisational ability, minute taking experience and excellent written and oral communication skills. The hours of this post will be worked across core office hours Monday to Friday and after an initial introductory period, will adopt a hybrid approach of 3 days on site, 2 days working from home.
