Salary: A GBP 56,333 to A GBP 71,979 DOE ( Subject to review following NHS 2024/25 Agenda for Change (AfC) )

About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Clinical Psychologist to lead and innovate within our clients renowned service. You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic, professional leadership to our multi:disciplinary rehabilitation team, ensuring the delivery of top:tier neuropsychological rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Offer strategic and clinical leadership through the Clinical Executive, guiding the multi:disciplinary team to achieve the highest standards of care.
- Service Development: Spearhead the planning and development of a systematic response to service needs, ensuring adherence to the latest best practices in neuropsychology.
- Clinical Expertise: Provide high:level clinical services, offering expert consultation and guidance to neuropsychologists, psychologists, and other clinicians.
- Regional Oversight: Lead and direct clinical services across the relevant region, ensuring cohesive and effective multidisciplinary teamwork.
About You
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate professional with the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: Degree in Psychology recognized by the BPS for Graduate Basis Registration (GBR) or equivalent, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology accredited by the BPS.
- Registration: Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to convey complex and sensitive information effectively to a diverse range of audiences, including in highly emotive or impaired communication situations.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing and managing multifaceted information, integrating diverse psychological perspectives, and making informed professional judgments.
- Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing specialist professional staff, clinical services, and financial resources.
- Legislation Knowledge: In:depth understanding of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act, and its implications for clinical practice and professional management.
- Experience: Extensive experience as a Consultant or Principal Clinical Psychologist in a relevant setting.
