The shift pattern for this post is rotational, days, nights and weekends. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Healthcare Support Workers to join our teams within the medical wards at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Opportunities are available within the following specialties; Cardiology, Diabetes/Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Respiratory and Rheumatology.


The Post Holder Will Be


  • expected to ensure safe and effective care that enhances the patient experience.
  • able to demonstrate high professional standards of care.
  • the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • utilise a broad range of knowledge and skills in the assessment, planning and implementation of care for our patients.

We are passionate about supporting the well-being and development of our team and you will be supported through mentorship and education from our Clinical Nurse Educator.
