To compile clear assessment reports and recommendations for future care, for the multi-disciplinary team and other external agencies.
To actively contribute and coordinate multi-disciplinary working, including client related meetings e.g. case conference.

Each service is organised under a Head of Profession with a Chief of Therapies heading up the service and representing Therapies across the Trust. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated HCPC registered occupational therapists to join our band 5 rotational scheme. The rotation posts, apart from Hand Therapy, are 6 months in duration and offer the opportunity to increase clinical skills and knowledge in a wide variety of clinical areas across many physical health specialities.

The post holder will ensure the provisions are made for a high quality service for all patients that require Occupational Therapy. They will carry a caseload of complex patients using evidence based practise and client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. The post holder will be required to develop links with other departments and to facilitate a multidisciplinary team approach. The post requires a flexible approach to working and requires the post holder to undertake weekend commitments as required.
