We currently have opportunities for Nursing Associate's to join our established community nursing team in Erewash South. This role will provide care for housebound patients in Long Eaton and the surrounding areas. Various hours are available so part time working will be considered.
As a Nursing Associate you will be expected to provide community based individualised care to include long-term condition management, venepuncture and medication administration as well as completing various nursing assessments and following treatment regimes.
This is a very exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to progress and develop in the role working as part of a supportive and friendly team.
Working as a Nursing Associate you will need to be passionate and enthusiastic about patient care putting patients at the heart of everything you do.
You will be working in a multi-professional team and will need to be able to think on the spot and be empathetic.
For this role you will need to be able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with other staff and patients. You will also have the opportunity to manage your workload on a daily basis, following the guidance of your line manager.
The post holder will organise and prioritise their own day to day work tasks and activities, and delegate tasks to junior colleagues. The successful post holdermust be able to able to work alone and unsupervised.
The post holder will be required to have access to a car to complete patient visits in the community and clinical settings.
