Ward Clerk Paediatric Critical Care Unit

PCCU is a 6 bedded commissioned level 2 unit. We see children from the age of 0-18. The role of the Ward Clerk on the unit will be to complete day to day housekeeping task such as E-Camis update, answering the telephone and the door to the unit. The role will also include inputting data into our PICANET site which monitors level 2 activity on the unit. The service is interlinked with other services at Ward 21, Ward 22, CYPED.

The strategic goals of the front of house are focused on the patient journey and experience which is pivotal in minimising risk and reducing harm. The Acute team are high performing and deliver organisational requirements of a well led service.

Leadership and Improvement Training

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff. This training programme has been designed to support our staff in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the following training sessions

After you complete these one and a half days of training, you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities. We also offer a range of additional in-house courses and bitesize programmes through our Leadership and Improvement Team.
