The Role


You’ll be a smart, friendly and enthusiastic member of the team providing vital administrative support. Your IT and organisational skills will be supported by an excellent telephone manner. You will interact with Consultants, patients, and colleagues, being sensitive to our customers’ needs and providing excellent customer service. Administration and keyboard skills are required and previous experience of working in customer service environment is preferred, but not essential. Full training will be provided. Duties will include:

  • Provide administrative support across a range of areas, including customer facing environments.
  • To ensure the work within this complex area of administration and support, meets all required standards and timescales. Following GDPR policies and meeting CQC requirements.
  • Flexibility and ability to organise own workload and work within a reasonable timescale.
  • To handle all enquires, or queries raised efficiently and effectively, escalating appropriately where necessary.
  • To prepare invoices and contact patients for payments prior to their procedures.
  • To ensure all data/information is entered, modified, maintained and presented accurately and efficiently using the appropriate electronic or manual system and format.
  • To manage and maintain accurate records and databases.


The Person


  • Be a confident and customer focused communicator with the ability to manage, appraise and interpret the right data.
  • Ideally be educated to GCSE in English and Maths, with NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent.
  • Good IT and keyboard skills.
  • Have experience within an administrative or customer facing environment would be a real advantage.
  • Have experience within a Hospital/Healthcare environment.
  • Be self-motivated, with plenty of initiative. You also have experience of delivering a great service.
