An exciting opportunity has arisen to join UHB Trust as a senior fellow in functional and reconstructive urology (FNUU) for a fixed term period of 12 months to commence early 2025.
The successful applicant will work with a team of 3 consultants providing predominantly tertiary subspecialist services in male and female incontinence, complex bladder dysfunction and urinary tract reconstruction. The fellow can expect to have the opportunity for 2- 3 operating days per week with training provided in artificial urinary sphincter and male sling, sacral neuromodulation, complex vaginal surgery and major urological reconstruction. In addition they will attend video urodynamics, outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary team meetings. There is no oncall commitment associated with this post. It is anticipated that by completion of this post, the applicant will be in a strong position to move forward with a career as a consultant with specialist interest in functional and reconstructive urology.
