COMMUNITY NURSING SERVICE
Community Staff Nurse
Band 5 - £30,229 to £37,664 per annum
Plus £1,279 Distant Islands Allowance per annum

This post is eligible for relocation expenses
We are seeking to employ a Registered Nurse to work with and complement our community nursing team in Uist.
The primary purpose of this post will be to provide treatment room services across three sites in Uist as well as providing health care for a wide range of patients in their own homes and across all community settings including carehomes.
The post holder will work as an integral part of the Uist community team and will work closely with them gaining all round experience in community health care.
On going CPD is essential for this post. You will be a car owner/driver with a full UK driving licence.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme). This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
