The Band 4 Nursing Associate role at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust in Brighton involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients with acute abdominal conditions within a 35-bed unit. The majority of patients are emergency admissions or those transitioning from ICU and HCU. The position is suited for those who have either completed or are pursuing the Nursing Associate training program, which includes obtaining a level 5 Foundation Degree equivalent qualification. Successful candidates will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, promoting patient health and independence while gaining exposure to diverse learning opportunities and comprehensive support for their professional development.

We care for patients with acute abdominal conditions requiring surgery on a 35 bedded area
The majority of our patients are emergency admissions or step down patients from ICU & HCU.

You will be working towards or successfully completed the Nursing Associate training programme which includes attainment of a level 5 Foundation Degree equivalent qualification.
