The Apprentice Healthcare Science Assistant - Micro role at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust involves providing essential support to Biomedical Scientists in the Medical Microbiology Department. The responsibilities include processing and preparing samples and reagents, maintaining laboratory analysers, and performing various technical, clerical, and administrative tasks. This position is designed as an apprenticeship, where applicants without the essential qualifications, specifically in English and Maths at level 2, may receive support. The successful candidate will initially be placed on a fixed-term apprenticeship contract, with the potential for a permanent position upon successful completion of the program.
