Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a Higher Medical Laboratory Assistant for a busy Microbiology Laboratory located at the Royal Gwent Hospital, with additional responsibilities at The Grange University Hospital and Nevill Hall Hospital. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays. The position involves various tasks such as registering request forms, preparing samples for processing, managing stock, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment. Ideal candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and possess good computer and communication skills. Proficiency in Welsh is desirable.
