Work as a key member of the Senior Management Team supporting the Flow Centre Service Manager, in the redesign and operational, business and performance management of the Service.
To provide operational and performance management (financial, planning, policy development and implementation and business management) support to the Service Manager, ensuring services are delivered within budget, that national and local targets are met, and that all funding is maximised.
To direct and manage the administrative infrastructure across the service, and to lead on the implementation of the redesign and development of the Flow Centre function
To make recommendations to the service and implement an integrated 24/7 staffed service through operational service redesign and capacity planning for the Flow Centre and associated services in line with NHS Lothian’s unscheduled care planning and urgent care redesign agenda.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
