NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced registered nurse to fill the role of Community Staff Nurse within the District Nursing Service in the Kirkcaldy locality. While community nursing experience is advantageous, it is not a requirement. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a wide range of clinical abilities to provide quality care both as part of a team and as a lone worker. The position entails working flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and occasional evenings, necessitating the ability to travel across the locality.

The role will contribute to the 24-hour community nursing service and requires membership in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment. NHS Scotland is also in the process of reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours, effective April 1, 2024, while maintaining current pay structures. They encourage applications from diverse backgrounds to foster a representative workforce.
